About Anjon IT

Anjon IT is a small web development and digital marketing studio founded by Anjon Roy. We build, fix and look after WordPress websites for businesses, law firms, clinics and online shops, and we share what we learn through free tools, blog posts and tutorials for new developers.

We like websites that load fast, look clean on every screen and are easy for their owners to manage. Most of our work comes from people who need a site that simply works, and keeps working after launch.

Who is behind Anjon IT

Anjon IT was founded by Anjon Roy, a WordPress and front-end developer with about seven years of experience in web development. Anjon leads every project personally, so when you work with us you deal directly with the person building your site.

Anjon started in 2018 as a freelance front-end developer on Fiverr, turning PSD and Figma designs into HTML, building interactive pages with JavaScript and jQuery, and creating dashboards with Chart.js. From 2021 to 2024 he worked full time, remotely, as a front-end and WordPress developer for NITRO9, a Danish company that provides white-label WordPress services. There he built complete websites, created custom plugins and JavaScript tools, and set up template systems that generate thousands of pages from a single design.

Since April 2024, Anjon has been the IT admin and web developer for Blue Sails Counseling and Consulting, a mental health practice in Maryland, USA, rebuilding and maintaining their websites and automating their workflows with Zoho CRM and Zoho Flow. Alongside that, we take on freelance projects through Upwork and work directly with clients through Anjon IT.

Before moving fully into web development, Anjon also worked in the construction industry as an office manager, secretary and data entry operator. That experience taught us to stay organised, meet deadlines and explain technical things in plain language, and it still shapes how we work with clients today.

What we do

WordPress website development: custom sites built with Bricks Builder, Elementor, Breakdance, Oxygen and other page builders, or from scratch.
Design to website: turning Figma or PSD designs into pixel accurate, responsive WordPress, HTML or React pages.
WooCommerce shops: product setup, checkout customisation and the plugins an online store needs.
Custom plugins and features: custom post types and fields with ACF or Meta Box, REST API work, forms, and small JavaScript tools.
Website care: bug fixing, updates, speed improvements and day to day maintenance.
SEO basics: technical setup with Rank Math or Yoast, clean structure and fast pages that search engines can read.
Front-end and React development: dashboards, interactive pages and web apps.

Free online tools

We also run a growing collection of free online tools for everyday tasks: a case converter, word and character counters, text clean up tools, calculators, unit converters, a JSON formatter, a password generator and more.

We built them because we kept needing these small helpers in our own work and wanted versions that are fast, simple and private. Every tool runs inside your browser, so the text and files you use with them are never uploaded to our server. Each tool comes with clear instructions and examples, and they are free for everyone to use.

Learning and sharing

Web development changes quickly, and we enjoy keeping up with it. On our blog we write practical guides on topics like WordPress, JavaScript, React and, more recently, AI assisted development and game development. We also create tutorials for people who are just starting out as web developers.
