Frequently asked questions
Does it break emoji or accented letters?
No. Many reverse text tools turn emoji and some accented letters into garbled symbols because they split them in half. This one keeps each visible character together, so flags, skin tone emoji and letters like é come through intact.
What is the difference between reversing text and reversing words?
Reversing text flips every character, so "hello world" becomes "dlrow olleh". Reversing words keeps each word readable but changes their order, so you get "world hello".
Can I use this to check for palindromes?
Yes. Paste a word or phrase and compare it with the reversed version. If they match (ignoring spaces and capitals), it is a palindrome, like "racecar" or "Was it a car or a cat I saw".
How do I make mirror writing?
Reversed text is not quite mirror writing, because the letters themselves are not flipped. For a real mirror effect you would need a graphics program. Reversed text is still great for puzzles and fun messages.
