Case Converter

Paste your text once, then tap any case below. The result updates instantly and you can copy it with one click.

How to use the case converter

  1. Type or paste your text into the Your text box. You can paste a single word or several pages.
  2. Click the case you want, for example Title Case or lower case. The result box changes right away.
  3. Press Copy result and paste it wherever you need it. If you want a file instead, use Download .txt.
  4. Want to try a different style? Just click another case. Your original text stays in the top box, so you never lose it.

Tip: Use result as input moves the converted text to the top box. That is useful when you want to convert in two steps, for example lower case first and then fix a few words by hand.

When a case converter saves you time

The most common reason people land here is caps lock. You type a whole paragraph, look up, and it is all in capitals. Instead of deleting it, paste it here, choose Sentence case and you are done.

Writers use it to keep headlines consistent. If your blog uses Title Case for every post title, it is easy to slip up on small words like "of" or "with". The Title Case option handles those for you.

Developers use the programming cases when they rename things. Paste a list of field names such as "first name" and "date of birth", pick snake_case, and you get first_name and date_of_birth on separate lines, ready to paste into your code.

A few things to keep in mind

Frequently asked questions

Is this case converter free?

Yes. There is no sign up, no daily limit and no watermark on the result. Use it as often as you like.

Do you store the text I paste?

No. The conversion happens inside your browser with JavaScript. Your text is never uploaded to our server, so it is safe to use with private notes or work documents.

What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalized Case?

Capitalized Case puts a capital letter at the start of every single word. Title Case follows headline style, so short words like "and", "of" and "the" stay lowercase unless they start or end the title.

Will it keep my line breaks?

Yes. Every case keeps your lines exactly where they were. The programming cases (camelCase, snake_case and so on) convert each line separately, which is handy when you have a list of names to convert.

Does it work with accented letters?

It does. Letters like é, ü, ñ and ø are converted correctly, along with Greek and Cyrillic letters.
